V-Bank receives EU-wide MiCAR license: Milestone for the use of digital assets.

V-Bank AG is the first pure custodian bank in Germany to receive the EU-wide MiCAR (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation) license. This expands our existing regulatory portfolio to include an EU-wide license for services in the field of digital assets and strengthens our role as a regulated provider in the growing European crypto market. At the same time, we are consolidating our position as a pioneer for future technologies in the financial industry.

The MiCAR license is an important foundation for us as we move into the next stage of development for digital financial services. We are very proud to be among the first in the market to achieve this. Our business partners now have the opportunity to offer their customers secure and legally compliant custody of digital assets.

The granting of the MiCAR license confirms our business model and underscores our role as a reliable service provider for independent asset managers, including for the financial market of the future. V-Bank is already extensively active in the field of digital assets and offers crypto custody solutions, trading and settlement of cryptocurrencies, and technical processing of tokenized securities and fund shares. We support asset managers in the tokenization of real assets as well as the trading and custody of digital securities.

MiCAR will harmonize the handling of digital assets in Europe in the future and ensure a uniform European standard. The aim of the regulation is to promote innovation in the field of digital assets while ensuring market stability and investor protection. In doing so, it strengthens confidence in the European crypto market and creates new opportunities for regulated financial institutions.

under custody. And at the start of the second half of the year, the momentum has not slowed down at all.
